1. Data We Collect

When you sign in with Twitch

When you sign in to Bregvorn via Twitch OAuth, only the following information is obtained:

• Twitch username and user ID
• Profile picture URL
• An access token required for channel operations — your password is never accessed

During use

Chat messages and event data (new follower, subscriber and donation alerts) are processed solely to be displayed on screen and are not permanently stored on our servers.

Automatically collected technical data

• Browser type and version
• Operating system type
• Anonymized error and crash reports (to improve the panel)

2. How We Use Data

The data we collect is used only for the following purposes:

• To identify your account and keep your session active
• To connect to your Twitch channel and run the panel's features
• To detect and resolve technical issues
• To improve the product (anonymous usage statistics)

We don't use your data for advertising and we don't send marketing emails (unless you sign up for updates yourself).

3. Sharing With Third Parties

We don't sell, rent or share your personal data for commercial purposes.

Limited sharing may occur in the following cases:

• Twitch: OAuth token verification so the service can work. Twitch's own privacy policy applies.
• Infrastructure providers (Cloudflare): Page delivery and DDoS protection. No personal data is shared.
• Legal obligation: With authorized authorities in the event of a court order or legal requirement.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information (username, profile picture) for the lifetime of your active account. When you request deletion of your account, all data is permanently erased within 30 days.

Chat messages and event data are not permanently stored on our servers; they are only processed in real time and displayed on your screen.

5. Security

All data transmission is encrypted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored in encrypted form on the server side. Regular security reviews are performed.

That said, please remember that no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it via Discord.

6. Your Rights

To exercise the rights below, you can write to the #support channel on Discord or contact the email address below:

• Right of access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate information.
• Right to erasure: You can request deletion of all your data.
• Right to object: You can object to certain processing activities.

Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.

7. Cookies

Bregvorn uses only essential cookies:

• Session cookie: To keep you signed in. Deleted when you close the browser.
• Preference cookie: To remember your language and theme settings.

No advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies are used.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. For significant changes, we post an announcement on Discord and revise the update date on this page. Continuing to use Bregvorn means you accept the updated policy.
